The Snug is always good to go to, always busy and always friendly, serving up classic fare at reasonable prices. The cake selection is notable too. There is seating inside and out, the pretty courtyard being preferable when the weather is good as it gets noisy indoors at times due to the reflective walls and floors. Wanted a proper meal, similar to home cooked food.. The Snug surpassed my expectations, good specials board and excellent value. I have been going back to Caerleon since 1986 and this was the best value quality food I have had in the village since then. Roast Pork excellent, Lamb Chops excellent, vegetables really good. Service very friendly and not intrusive. Thanks to the people who reserved a table and did not turn up. Shame on you. We took your place and had a great meal.
