The Social is one of our favorite restaurants, so we decided to stop by for dinner tonight. The service was excellent. The blueberry and lemon mojito shakers were fantastic! The small Caesar salad was just the right size, as our waiter suggested, and it was very tasty. My wife really enjoyed her blackened scallops, which were a special of the day. I ordered the New Orleans BBQ Shrimp and I have to say, it was nothing like the authentic version I’ve experienced during my many visits to New Orleans over the years. I found it too sweet and had a strange aftertaste, so I couldn't finish it. Aside from that, we had an enjoyable evening overall.
For a picky eater, this place was pretty accommodating. I was worried about spice levels, allergies, what have you. But they were totally down to make me a plain burger and fries. I also tried a bite of my friend's dinner; she ordered the New Orleans Habanero Chicken Burger and sweet potato fries. Both were a m a z i n g. May be a busy place at times, but totally worth it. Would recommend.
We had the Peanut Butter and Jelly Wings, Truffle Cheesesteak, and Dry-Aged Burger. All of these items were delicious. Food came out extremely fast. Staff was very nice. The only thing that was lacking was the s'mores lava cake. It just wasn't anywhere near as good as the rest of the food. But I'm definitely going to return to the Social! We loved it.
What a fantastic new discovery! The chicken sandwich is simply amazing—it tastes just as delicious as it looks. Choosing this restaurant for your meal is definitely a good decision. I've been coming here for years and absolutely love the new location! The food and drinks are consistently outstanding. The blackberry bramble is my favorite cocktail, and every dish I've tried has been fantastic. It's still one of my top restaurants in WC!
Food was just ok and was getting cold by the time it was served. Server was accommodating and did a good job. The theme of this place seems to be a mob style “social” club with pics of Frank Sinatra and others. Nice environment, but too dark for me.
The food was average, but the service was terrible. It was very slow and felt impersonal; the staff didn’t seem to have a grasp on what they were doing.
the ordered exit was left completely open on a bar with the bag and I paid 5 dollars for smoked bun on a 16 dollar salat and just got no Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We visited The Social while exploring the Western Chest campus, and it did not disappoint! The service and food were both excellent!
