Been wanting to try this place out and finally decided to stop in Saturday (4/13/24) morning. The yarn store portion of the store is really cool to browse though (coming from someone who does not knit/crochet) and they even had embroidery kits and similar things. They had some books as well. For the cafe part of the store, the cashier (whose name i did not get but they had cute rubber ducky earrings) was super nice and even though there were a few people ahead of my order in the kitchen, the food came out at a reasonable time. The indoor and outdoor seating was really nice. I tried the white chocolate frappe and the Verona (which is pretty much a caprese) sandwich. Both were amazing and I lo...
Checked out this cute little coffee shop/ knitting shop in downtown Verona. I had a danish, which was amazing. So flakey and perfect. I paired that with a hot matcha latte. The cutest little shop, with a lot of neat little trinkets from local businesses. I also snagged a sticker! There’s also a whole knitting shop, with patterns, supplies, knitting needles. A worker named Julia found my friend and I, and gave us a tour of the knitting rooms. She also gave us a ton of info and gave us a business card. They hold classes if you want to learn how to knit. Such a cute little place. The staff was so kind! I may have to check out one of their classes. And I’ll definitely be back again for coffee!
I really enjoy coming here even though I am 70 miles away. Worth the trip in my honest opinion. They have fun and tasty takes on their food selection and their coffee is delicious (ask for the zombie for some extra kick). The yarn shop in the back is incredible and very welcoming. I don 't knit but gosh darn I might as well learn since my knitter wife won 't make the sweater I 've been asking for about 2 years. Overall, a welcoming space of all of who simply want a light meal and coffee while relaxing at a table to do whatever one wants.
This is my favorite place in all of Madison. I love it for the crafting spaces, the food, the coffee, and the community. I picked up knitting since I started coming here, and it’s amazing getting to explore the rooms of quality and varied yarn on sale. We had such a wonderful time on Mother’s Day at the Sow’s Ear. Staff is very friendly. Food was fantastic. Coffee drinks were delicious! All the adults in our party had the monthly coffee specials and they did not disappoint. We will be back for sure!
Me and my granddaughter visited for the 1st time. And we will definitely be going back. They got the Verona, and I got the grilled cheese. We tried each other's and soooooo good. The smoothies were awesome. I got mine with yogurt. Highly recommend.
Best coffee and yarn selection in the Madison area! The owner is awesome and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable! You have an issue with the blanket you're worth on? They're there to help! Try the white zombie lattes! They're fabulous!

My coffee took 30 minutes to be ready, i asked them few times about my order. They said yes we are making it. However, this is a very dirty place
