Table for 4 for Mother’s Day. The place was bustling, but every staff member was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately for us, the weather was windy and cold. The Spot is almost entirely outdoor seating and they did what they could to make things as comfortable as possible (fire pits, blankets, plastic wrap around the perimeter) but it was still a bit of a battle with the elements and future diners should plan accordingly. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, the menu was kid friendly. You couldn’t ask for a better location and the overall rating is 5 stars.
The food and location are great, as usual however the parking in Ocoquan is hard to find! Be prepared to walk a short distance to the restaurant, but this gives you the chance to peruse the other shops and such along the road so it?s not all bad. The restaurant has limited amounts of certain foods, so if you have something in particular in mind, plan on being early! And while you?re there, try the **** Mary?s, they?re quite good. Let me share my experience at this restaurant. I ordered a pancake platter for $12, which came with a small bowl of dried fruit and tiny pancakes similar to those from McDonald's. I was surprised that they only offered egg rounds for sandwiches and no other type of eggs, like scrambled. If you're looking for a traditional breakfast, this place may disappoint you. They have a wide selection of wine, but no scrambled eggs on the menu.
I highly recommend The Spot on Mill Street for its delicious brunch and outstanding service. Our party of seven had a lovely table, thanks to our reservation. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Don't miss out on the mimosa flights, but there are plenty of other beverage options if mimosas aren't your thing. I give this restaurant five stars!

A delightful spot to sit and work or chat with friends! Hot apple cider was delightful and the kitchen is so friendly to gluten allergies. The flatbread was filling and fresh, and you can tell they care about quality ingredients. A local gem.
I have been going to the spot to meet friends for coffee, lunch or a beer for several years now…..it’s always fantastic! A warm welcome, great menu selection, and fantastic outdoor patio make it a must on any given weekend.
