The Stag & Huntsman

I recently dined at a restaurant and enjoyed the soup and mussels as appetizers. For the mains, the sea bass was delicious, but the Jamaican jerk chicken was not spicy as expected. The cheese board for dessert was beautifully presented, but the portions of cheese were too small and lacked flavor.

Very impressed with our first visit. Arrived earlier than booked but not a problem as reserved table free. Friendly welcome, helpful knowledgeable staff and interesting menu. Great food and lovely atmosphere. Thoroughly recommended and will visit again

Great Sunday lunch, made a real change to lunch and have a good friendly service, a beautiful environment atmosphere cooked in beautiful surroundings and fantastic loccaly sourced food and wonderfully presented. Very happy Sunday lunch

As ever, first class food, wines and service. A really pleasant experience and one which will ensure our return. Landlord and staff were all welcoming and attentive. A1 Recommended!
