fantastic experience in this pub. what she deals is the personal we were greeted by when we left, they were all so friendly, went beyond expectations and made us feel super comfortable. they even treated the little ones with so much respect. the performance was also brilliant. the hottest day of the year, in the position to sit outside in the beer garden was much needed. there is a small play area for small children to keep them entertained. the food was very tasty and in portions. we had the steak, the seabarsch, chicken and cattle burgers, the ribs and the pizza (pizza was the only one who was disappointed, it was a bit too dry). Pub is excellent, service was great as well. Food came quickly. We ordered the Ultimate Burger and for the most part it was very good, however it was advertised as a 10oz burger whereas in fact it was one large burger with a small one on top. That's not my issue, I have no problem with that, however the quality of the smaller burger was nowhere near the quality of the larger burger it looked and tasted like a Birdseye frozen one. The large burger was excellent though! We would certainly be back we loved the setting and the layout of the pub and there's plenty of other things I would try on the menu.

really nice huh and rib combo. had the garlic and their teig balls also to start and they were nice. was disappointed by the apple crumbs, as there was not much apple, and the crumb was a bit well done. beautiful outdoor seating area on both front and rear. small cabins/huts with heating and plastic zippers are also available. will definitely return! had the same meal today again and still great! the service was a little slow, but was pretty busy.

a varied menu with all tastes excellent eating. Complimated by a good selection of wines, beers and spirits, including cocktails, on special between 5 and 7 o'clock. all served by friendly and helpful staff. the choice of eating in, a lot of space for groups, or outside, with al fresco, weatherproof, dining room cabins. lots of parking. in every experience we will be worth investigating and tasting. fun.

Went to the Star for Christmas Day dinner, probably the best dinner I have ever had at and pub. The food was fantastic, the staff were friendly and attentive, genuinely couldn’t have made the experience better if I tried. I will be booking again for Christmas and throughout the year. Thank you everyone who worked at The Star yesterday
