I would gladly give Stonehaus a strong 4 stars for its wonderful blend of a micro winery, restaurant, and spacious outdoor garden seating. I only give it 4 stars because every time I want another glass of wine, I have to wait in line. That said, if you're looking for a beautiful, relaxed winery atmosphere in the heart of Westlake, this place is fantastic. There isn’t any table service; you order and pick up your food, and it can get crowded. If you're alone, it might be tricky to save a seat while you're waiting in line. They offer a nice selection of wines. The top-shelf Chardonnay is excellent, but I'm hesitant to give up my seat just to get another glass, lol.
We visited this restaurant for a work event, and it exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere struck a perfect balance between upscale and casual. There was plenty of outdoor seating, and we appreciated the heaters on the chilly night. We tried the Brie and pear sandwich, the quinoa salad, the crostini appetizer, and the vegetable soup. Everything was delicious, and we even considered ordering a second round of that amazing soup. There were plenty of vegetarian options as well!

This is such a great spot to go out. It can only exist in California. It is so spacious and easy to find an area that exactly fits your mood. The wine selection is first rate with experts helping you make your choice. The pizza is straight from Italy.
What’s happening to the portion sizes? The menu and portions were changed recently. The salads for instance cost the same and are half the size now! If you are giving me half the amount of food I expect the price to be adjusted accordingly.
Arturo was fantastic! The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was just right. I would definitely return!
