This is a fantastic hidden gem in Carlsbad. I enjoy working from different coffee shops, and this one is now my favorite in Carlsbad. Despite being located in a church, I was initially hesitant to visit due to my feelings about religion. However, the environment was not overly religious, and I did not feel any pressure to convert. The entire property is beautiful, and the atmosphere is great. The staff is thorough and friendly, and it was not too crowded when I visited. They offer a good selection of non-coffee drinks, which is a huge plus for those of us who don't drink coffee. Story Caffe is a wonderful spot to relax and read a favorite book, get caught up on work or share an hour with a good friend. They also have the friendliest staff working there. The caffe is such a comfortable cozy environment with couches and inviting gathering spaces. In fact, the entire NCCC campus feels like you are on vacation in Italy it is so beautiful. Come check it out.
Best Chai in town! I love the relaxed atmosphere and fireplace. Parking: Enormous parking lot with wheel chair access to entrance. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options that taste good.
