Breakfast could be better by a long shot. I ordered turkey bacon and it came out burnt tasting and so crispy that you would assume it was a potato chip. The French toast was good but we weren’t offered syrup, which is odd when a restaurant serves breakfast but your server doesn’t make the offer. My home fries were inconsistently chopped up so you got massive pieces with smaller pieces and there was a lot of burned pieces. We were very disappointed with our 12-person meal that we ordered tonight. The employee who took our order was great, calling us back three times to clarify and inform us about any changes. However, it seems like the kitchen staff didn't pay attention to our order. We ordered the chicken strips meal, which was supposed to include 8 large chicken strips with double fries. Instead, we received what looked like only four chicken strips. My niece's chicken wings were undercooked, the shrimp looked unappetizing, and the bacon on my baked potato was undercooked and dry. After reading all the negative reviews we were very skeptical about this place plus when We showed up and had a 25 minute wait even know there were tables available which at first didn’t make sense but the waitress informed us they were short staffed in the kitchen and backed up which everywhere is hurting for help right now so it’s understandable. The food came out and it was definitely worth the wait!!!! We grabbed food here twice during our stay in the area, we did dining in and takeout, both times the food was amazing! We can't wait to visit again sometime! The environment is really fun and comfortable, from arcade games to whimsical steampunk-esque décor! The staff was really friendly and attentive without being overbearing! And I really can't emphasize enough how good the food was, we got a variety both times because the menu was so extensive it was hard to choose! They make a great old fashioned too! what a great restaurant and the supplement to the city woodland park! the service, eating and atmosphere here is incredible! there is something here for everyone the menu is huge and offers so many options! I love how there are also great and fun options for the children! and the dessert menu wow! there is a whole page dedicated to the menu for all different types of sunflowers, shakes and cheesecakes! if you were not in stubborn, you should try it! you will not be disappointed!
The staff at this restaurant was fantastic! However, the food could use some work. My burger was overcooked even though I asked for it to be medium, the bun was dry and falling apart, and the toppings were not fresh. The fries were uninspiring and should not be an additional charge, especially considering the high price of the burger on its own. I hope to give this place another chance when I am in the area again, hoping that it has improved since my last visit.
What an awesome place! Great food and service! We came here to watch the Av’s game and it was the perfect spot. I got the meatball sub (no cheese) and a NY Cheese cake with fresh Strawberries, both were on point!!! Amanda was our server and she was fun and personable, she gave us such great service. We also had fun conversation with Ray the Manager. Such a great staff and experience, we’ll definitely be back!
The food was OK.The Italian platter- the meatballs were cold. The Ravioli was too crunchy/ over toasted.The Elvis Saturday was good however I wish the bacon wouldn't have been in crumbles mixed in.The Broccoli and cheese stuft potato could have used some flavor, like a bit of butter or something.Overall the atmosphere was cute and the wait staff was attentative. Have a little patience and you will love this place and their food. If you like a good Chicken Parmesan this is one of the best around in my opinion and if you like one with a kick get the Cajun version. Wow!And if you just want dessert, Check this one out.
