Just had a superb lunch , thoroughly enjoyed it and would certainly recommend a visit. So much choice of food. Dietary restrictions: Plenty of Vegetarian/,Vegan options. Pleasant staff. Very quiet. Food 1 dimensional. Mash, carrots and a green splodge on every plate weather fish pie, chicken schnitzel, or over fatty beef short rib. Over salty too. Would not visit again. Gastropub I think not. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
For starters, we had olives and warm bread, along with a grilled cocktail, all of which were very tasty. However, the standout dishes were the lamb and the fish and chips, along with the chocolate fondant for dessert! We will definitely be back soon!
