We 've been coming to the Sycamore Inn for over 20 years. While we usually enjoy the bar/patio area, it was a special occasion, so we made reservations for the dining room. We were sat in a high-traffic area, which made dining awkward, but that was tolerable. The service from the waitress was atrocious! We interacted with her all of 3-4 times. The busboy was more attentive and provided better service than she did. We asked for a drink menu, then waited at least 10 minutes for her to return to take a drink order. After we placed our dinner order, I asked for the wine list. She never came back to take our wine order and by the time she did, our dinner had arrived. That would not have been bad,...
I love Sycamore Inn! I am partial to the old school Steak houses with rustic setting. Same quality steaks and food as the high end chain steak houses. Oysters on the half shell are excellent and meaty, which is how I like them. Fresh, fresh, fresh! Dining room is excellent in my opinion and chairs are the most comfortable ever. Bar and bar area is great for dining too. Our server Ed is great. Just a fun evening with quality food, wine list incredible and great experience. Been there 4 times now.
Food was magnificent! New York strip with peppercorn sauce cooked to a perfect medium... Best steak we've had in many many many years. Chilean Sea Bass was really good. My personal preference however is not a sweet miso glaze. More of a savory style person. A little squeeze of lemon fixed that right up! Service in the bar and the restaurant was on point! Overall... We are looking forward to going again and again. Love it here.
My husband and I dined at The Sycamore Inn to celebrate Father's Day for an early dinner and it was fantastic! We both had the rib eye which was cooked exactly as we ordered it (Medium Rare Plus) and it was extremely flavorful! Even though it was busy, the service was impeccable and it wasn't that noisy. We sat on the patio. Service was a little slow. We were offered bread when we first sat down. We had to ask twice and it did not come until after our food arrived. The waiter was very nice but seemed not very good at delegating services to his two assistants. Normally, we sit inside and the service is always very good.
The food was excellent the service from the staff what would be expected from a high end restaurant The room e was Over which lead to a ex seated with tables and chairs which lead to a extremely load room Went at 830 when I left the place was almost empty and much quieter
We enjoyed our birthday celebration. The food was wonderful—minestrone soup, Caesar salad, filet mignon, Chilean sea bass, and sides. John, our waiter, and his assistants were outstanding. It was a great evening.
This place was so worth it for a fancy date restaurant, server was extremely professional with superb customer service and they were quick to take care of us and check in. I will be back definitely! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Our reservations were for 4:45, I checked in at 4:40 ans they set us down immediately. They were very busy, so we ordered appetizers. We waited a long time for the food , but is was worth the wait.
