would just like to thank Jess and the staff from the Tailend for Saturday evening it was fantastic good food and selection of Edinmill gin the Tailend run themed nights we have went to a couple they are outstanding value and amazing food Jess and the staff could not have done enough to make the night more enjoyable thanks to all outstanding
I encountered a long waiting line on the street for a farewell dinner on Sunday night, so I decided to go inside to find a table. The staff was excellent and managed to accommodate my family and me. The food was amazing, and the portions for the kids were quite generous. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting St. Andrews!
We always enjoy visiting The Tailend when we're in St. Andrews. The atmosphere is fantastic, and they offer an excellent selection of fish. This time, we also treated ourselves to some oysters, and they were incredibly fresh. The batter on the fish is wonderfully light, yet it still delivers that classic fish and chips experience.
One of my favorite spots for excellent seafood! They prepare everything to order, just how you like it. The fish and chips are spectacular—the batter is light and crispy, and the fish is flaky and fresh! The chips are the best around! The staff is friendly and accommodating. You want good seafood? Go here. You want ambiance? Go somewhere else. We loved it. Good service. The front is fresh seafood take-out. Restaurant in back. Sides are ok, but it’s the seafood. Scallops go fast.
again a fantastic meal. they always make a point of immersion when in this neck of the forest. scallops beautiful how fish n chips and sticky toffee pud to die. buching essential but!
Best chippy iv ever tasted will defo be back only draw back was the hour wait to be served but all in all i rate the place five star
