We visited The Tang located in upper west side which the decor is modern with cozy ambiance. It’s good for a workday quick lunch but also perfect for dating.We love their Pork Dumplings in Chili Oil which was flavorful with great size of dumplings. The Salt Pepper Ribs was decent but not as soft as expected.We shared Beef Noodles Soup, Cold Noodles and Spicy Diced Chicken with a group of five people. Both noodles were delicious with good portion and their braised eggs were impressively satisfying.
Wow! I don't know what else to say! This place has delicious food (with a menu that changes seasonally), great and attentive service (water is always filled) and a great atmosphere! The open kitchen provides a great view of the food being made and it is great to have a local spot with such fest and tasty options. In addition, they have some fun drink options as well. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic Chinese restaurant!
The atmosphere of this place is so cool and vibey. We went for lunch and it was pretty dead at the time. The spicy wontons were just okay but the soup was SO good. I loved it. It was so flavorful and came out pretty quickly. Will definitely be back.
Food was delicious, but they forgot two of our dishes. When we asked for them, it was clear that they had not made them. The kitchen forgot to make one, and the waiter forgot to put the other one in. And we were the only party in the place! ??
