The Tara Inn - close to the harbour - was a place to visit while in search of Celtic music in Brest. Local beers and salmon pie were tasted and live music was available. Unfortunately there were no sessions while our group visited the place, but the management allowed us to play and offered even a glass of beer. It was fun, as always. Local IPA beer was quite good, salmon pie did it's job and the atmosphere was "international", easy going. The Tara Inn is a real Irish Pub!
Been there a few times in the last 20 years or so. Worth a taxi ride, seeing as it's a small bit from the centre. But you won't be disappointed. As I'm irish myself, I must admit it's far better craic here than you'd find anywhere at home. Sláinte..
Nice atmosphere for lunch or dinner or just to have a drink. Enjoyable. Situated on the harbour which is nice to walk and visit, take a beer after at Tara Inn is a nice option. At night, atmosphere very sweet.
We stayed in the ibis hotel close to the pub and it is really nice there. We had a band playing music, good mood and it was quite crowdy after 10 pm. Selection of beer is ok. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
