I first visited in March while staying next door for work. I wrote a review at the time about one of the best Indian meals I've had in Australia. Maybe I built it up too much in my own mind but went back this month and was disappointed, the meal was ok, but nothing special, no better than many other Indian meals I've had around Australia and certainly nowhere near as good as that earlier visit. We had our first visit to The Taste of Village last night after receiving a recommendation from a friend. It was even better than we had anticipated. The food was incredibly authentic with some amazing flavours and lot of variation.The restaurant itself has a very cozy, warm atmosphere with lots of indian artifacts and photos.The personal service was a definite highlight and they made us feel very welcome. They've only been there for about a year or so, but in that time they've found a place in my family's list of favourite restaurants. Great friendly service and the food is always good. I usually go with the banquet with an extra dish for the kids and the guys there have always been great. They take the time to listen and understand what we like. I've even had a birthday party there for my 12 year old.

Loved this restaurant when we visited in May. Food was delicious, staff were wonderful and when they found it was my birthday they gave me a little cake and sang "Happy Birthday Cha Cha Cha". Would highly recommend. Only drawback was it tends to get a bit noisy. Otherwise highly recommend!
