To be fair I didn't have a chance to taste the food since the service was not existing. I was told to go to the back patio. No one was there so us and another couple found a place to sit. We were not together. A server did come out and gave us menu and water. That was last I seen anyone for next 20 minutes. When a late server came out she seems surprised we only had 5 people and the table was for 7. We asked for someone to take our order but they moved us to to a smaller table. Then we again sat for about 5 minutes for anyone to come over. Not sure how long that would take but I walked out. Went to 105 Twenty 5 minutes away. That was a great place.
We love visiting our daughter's family in Croton and this restaurant is always a favorite spot. The food and service are excellent. However, during our last visit on Sunday, I ordered the corned beef Reuben sandwich and it was delicious. I asked for mustard, which I believe is a classic condiment for corned beef. To my surprise, I was charged an additional $0.75 for the mustard. When I questioned this charge, I was informed that there is a fee for all dressings. I found this practice to be ridiculous. Due to this unexpected extra charge and a fee for using my credit card, we will be looking for another restaurant to dine at in the future.
Have been going here on and off for years now. LOVE IT! Food is always fresh and delicious and service always top notch. Their regular hamburgers are delicious but they absolutely have the BEST turkey burgers hands down! Had Apple Cheddar one last weekand it was delish. When the weather is nice there is plenty of outside seating and inside is very cozy. The place is veryfamily friendly too. Highly recommend it!
It is not recommended to visit this restaurant on a busy night. The lack of staff and inexperienced employees can lead to issues. While the food here is usually good, the outdoor seating is enjoyable, and they serve a delicious pint of Guinness, I had a negative experience when my waiter brought me my food with his thumbs touching it. I was pleasantly surprised to discover a wonderful outdoor seating area located behind the tavern. Our server was excellent - she was friendly and welcoming. I ordered the hamburger, which was fantastic, but the Nachos were just okay as the chips were too thin. The Caesar salad with chicken was good as well.
A cozy bar with delicious food not too far from the Croton Harmon train station. Great music, no skips on the speakers and very attentive staff who would all check on our table, not just the server. Will definitely come back for beers and laughs with friends
Great location, prompt friendly service, diverse menu and great desserts! We were seated promptly, we had children with us and they were attended to in a nice way.
