The Taybank - Tisch reservieren

This place has all the potential for a 5 star experience and you may well have it by going here! Unfortunately, we did not and it's worth explaining why. For context, we didn't stay overnight just had a meal in the restaurant one night and went to the beer garden another. Restaurant: Food was generally very good and prices reasonable. I'd especially recommend the tempura chard if it's on the menu! The setting of the restaurant is also lovely. However, we ended up waiting about an hour between starters and main meal 2 people . We were advised approx 40 minutes into the wait that one of the mains was no longer available and a substitute would be provided there was some gnocchi improvised from...

We came here for lunch and quite enjoyed it but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me only because there weren’t many options which suited my tastes. A lot of the food is grown in the garden, which is wonderful. The service was great and the outdoor area looks lovely, although we only wandered through. I’d probably come back on a sunny day to try some other dishes. Service: 5

Highly recommend this restaurant! The food is exceptional, the atmosphere is perfect, and the live music adds a special touch. The service is top-notch, ensuring a great experience. Had lunch today in the pub. Absolutely brilliant. The menu was really interesting and the food excellent. The staff were all lovely. Lovely, cosy atmosphere... wouldn't have changed anything!

Dinner here was an absolute delight. Dishes with perfectly chosen ranges of flavours and textures. A relaxed formal atmosphere with friendly efficient staff, and food to die for. First class.
