I am STUFFED! My partner and I booked in for the Christmas meal £19.95 for 2 courses or £24.95 for 3 courses. We had pre-ordered our meals so the only decision we needed to make was what to drink, Wow it should be called Temeside Gin Bar! I have never seen so many Gin 's (good to see a lot were local to the venue). My partner had a shandy and we went to our table which was decorated beautifully with twinkly lights and Christmas Crackers. I had the Turkey and trimmings followed by Winter Berry Eton Mess, my partner had the Bourbon Braised Beef and seasonal veg with the cheese board. After that we had a coffee and warm mince pie. Was a little dubious about this place having read some of the reviews but I have to say, my wife and I could not have been more pleased. All of the staff we met were efficient and courteous. I can highly recommend the Butty Bach and the reasonably priced food was so good we ate there no fewer than three times during our one week holiday. Each time we never had to wait more than around 15mins for our food and on two evenings there were large parties of people in the dining room. Great staff, good food, fine beer, excellent atmosphere. What more could anyone ask?
Would highly recommend for both food and atmosphere. The staff were super polite, very friendly and very accomodating. We were a group of 6 adults (1 disabled) and 4 children all under 3! They couldn't have been more helpful and understanding! The bar area is like an old English proper pub and the restaurant is a calm oasis with beautiful food. The garden is set out brilliantly for children to run around and play and adults to relax and watch. Will definitely be going again. Thanks for your hospitality!
Great service! The team were so helpful when I recently asked if they could make and deliver an afternoon tea for my mums birthday. My mum was absolutely thrilled and said the food was yummy! Just had great lunch at this fab pub. It has been renovated to amazing standard. Food exceptional. Staff welcoming and pleasant. Will certainly go again as we have 2nd home in the area. We ate scampi and chicken salad. Loved the glassware and plates.....presentaion exxellent. Good family pub with safe grassed areas for kids to play.
Wonderful outdoor area for children to play. Food nice, lovely location especially if you're staying at nearby holiday park. My review would be 5 stars if the toilet facilities were better. No handwash, or paper, not clean, understand places get busy but this is first impressions. Staying that, we would definitely return.
My Wife has just had her 60th birthday celebration at the pub, there were 20 of us and tables were arranged to suit us and table supplied for the cake. We all had fantastic meals which were quickly and efficiently served. The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. This is a beautiful pub and grounds.

Pleasant staff, nice varied menu and lovely well presented large portion size of meal. . Nice to see the pub back to serving good home cooked meals like it used to do a few years back. Will definitely be back again.
Excellent takeaway meal. Steak was cooked to perfection and still hot on arrival. Proper pub prices for really good food. Thank you, I will definitely be ordering again.
