I was visiting family and we decided to try the Thirsty Duck which I and they had never been to. We went three times in my short time to the area and every time the food was delicious. The first time I had the pear salad, goat cheese which I swapped out for feta and spicy pecans. It was so good, that I had it again the next time. The third time we went for dinner and I had the fish and chips which were fabulous and another person in our group had the beef dip and raved about it. So as you can suspect, my first meal when I return to the area is The Thirsty Duck. We stopped on our way home for lunch, my husband had a Duck burger and it was very good, exactly the way he ordered it. I had the shrimp wrap but placed on bread as a sandwich, it was absolutely delicious. Chips were o.k., I would order something else instead next time.You didn't get a huge serving for the price, but I would return for that shrimp sandwich again. The service was o.k. a little slow when asked for ketchup & vinegar, but otherwise she made us feel good to be there.
thrid stop on our road trip to victoriastop here for beer and dinnerhad the beef barley soup to start very salty and greasy, girlfriend did not want it at allwe shared the appy platter it was much betterthe service was good and atomsphere was coolwork on the soup guys!I would recommend this place
Everything about this place was amazing! We sat outside and had the most delicious lunch. Our server was super friendly and really funny. I am very happy we decided to stop here on an impromptu road trip from our home in the Okanagan. We love finding these hidden gems! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Have you ever had a Kangaroo burger? This is the place.I ate one, it wasn't bad but I prefer beef.There are no Kangaroos missing in the local news.This place had an interesting menu.I would recommend, I have been back for fish tacos.
Great food very friendly folks..it's a bar and grill so families can enjoy a meal here as well.. Fair selection of beers on tap.. Easy access.. Great Wednesday wing night.. Bathrooms clean and handicap accessible ..
Very limited GF menu-wait staff was clueless. Asked several general questions (easy) she had to refer elsewhere. Some attitude to boot. Time this place entered the 21st century, plus have qualified wait staff
