I eagerly watched from across the bar as my wings made their way to me, and the moment that basket was set down in front of me, I dove right in, savoring every succulent hot wing. From the very first bite, I was thrilled with the flavor. While I encountered the occasional dry wing, the generous serving of hot sauce quickly made me forget that. My experience at this restaurant on January 31, 2024, was one of the worst I've ever had. A petite lady with racist attitudes refused to serve us because of our skin color. She shouted at us and called us names, while the other staff members ignored her outbursts. It seemed clear she didn't want us there at all. She insisted that we pay before being served, which was unusual since we were the only table subjected to this rule. Before that, she had also requested that we each show two forms of ID, which we did. When my friend tried to pay with his bank card, she simply turned around and told us to leave. We were left shocked by the situation. I have never experienced such poor service before....
I finally decided to redeem the gift certificate I won at a silent auction. The place has a typical sports bar vibe, complete with pool tables and darts. The drinks are decent, but the food is impressive. I tried the chicken burger, which came on a fresh brioche bun and featured a perfectly cooked chicken breast. I also ordered a double serving of buffalo and salt-and-pepper wings, and both were fantastic. I believe you get a dozen wings per order, and dips are available for an extra $0.75. I can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere at this place. The food is still fairly priced, which is a plus. The bartender was absolutely fantastic—if only I could remember her name to give her a proper shout-out. She was working on Tuesday the 23rd, so hopefully that helps identify her. Since the menu revamp and the change in ownership at The Thirsty Duck, both the service and food quality have skyrocketed. I'm happy to dine and drink here any night of the week! I especially enjoyed the wings and the burger I ordered. The servers were friendly and attentive, and the beer selection was impressive! I will definitely return now that they’ve got everything running smoothly!
I stopped by to get some food, but the bartender wasn't taking orders or serving drinks. It was actually her coworker, who wasn't on the clock, that ended up taking my food order and serving me drinks. It doesn’t quite make sense to me, but I’d recommend visiting in the mornings for a different experience (my server was Tara).
The place has a great atmosphere, but unfortunately, Sarah's rudeness makes me hesitant to return. She demanded a larger tip and treated customers unfairly. I can't recommend this pub.

The pub food is quite good. While it may not be gourmet or life-changing, everything I've tried from the menu has been enjoyable. The setup is also quite nice.
