Had a strange experience here this week. On arrival it was very busy which is usually a good sign, the area and Cafe itself look lovely. The wife and I took up seats inside and were looking for prices on the menu for their coffee and cakes but couldn 't find them anywhere. I went and asked and the staff wanted to know what we wanted, I explained that we didn 't know yet but wanted to know prices before we order so we know what we 're paying. Pretty normal cafe or shop procedure I thought! The staff explained they don 't have their coffee prices on their menus but that they 're all about £3.30 and the cakes are all about £3.80 I asked how they operate like that, do they just guess at the time...
The atmosphere of the tile press is lovely for a special occasion or an afternoon tea with a friend. We had occasion to book for a baby shower.Every effort was made to fill our needs and requests and the afternoon tea was delicious and substantial. I would definitely use this place again for an occasion and hope to pop in for a tea and cake some time soon. 5* food 5* service Would happily recommend
Excellent provision for gluten free diners. The menu booklet has the GF menu on the first page and there are healthy options with generous portions. There's also more than one GF cake option too.
The best coffee I've had for a very long time... in a lovely setting... whilst we didn’t eat this time, all the food coming from the kitchen looked, and smelled, lovely

We stopped by for coffee and cake and it was amazing. Great quality coffee, the cake was sensational and the service and location were lovely. Stop by, you’ll love it.
Very nice eclectic cafe. It was shutting as we arrived but they still made us welcome and provided great coffee and some lovely cakes.
Nice place to visit and eat, not an easy place if you are disabled or in a wheelchair
Staff were lovely. Food was very good. If I was local I'd use it regularly.
