Long story short: this place should not be identified as an upscale winery/brewery. I had been here about 5 years ago with pleasant memories, but returning tonight, I didn't recognize the Toasted Goat at all. The menu suggests this is an upscale restaurant. Decor and ambiance suggests mediocre bar. Paint choices on the walls are whack. The frames holding historic Gunter Hotel photos look like they were painted and hung by a 6 year old. Absolutely no one in this restaurant wanted to sit in the higher level main room and we soon found out why: it is because the metal barstools on all the tables were too uncomfortable for anyone with a normal-sized butt. The seats of these chairs were angled in...

This was a great experience. We were looking for some place to grab an early dinner before the Polar Express just down the street that evening. Some online research led us to this place. We had a fairly sizable party (eight), but they were able to get us a reservation and we were seated within 5 minutes of our arrival. The service was great! Everyone seemed to be a good mood and the server for our group was pretty visible and upbeat. The drinks were fine and they came out pretty rapidly. The menu has a decent selection of handhelds and some entrees. Nothing too extravagant or expansive, but there were definitely enough options for everyone to find something they enjoyed. I would up with a sp...

First off to start this review, this is a pretty stuck up, pretentious hipster attitude restaurant, winery (a winery has a vineyard on the premises, not here), whatever they want to call it. It's a waste of space and a waste of business space. For the food, it's not good- the portions are small expensive also tastes bland. Their wine is a joke: pretty expensive as well and just like the food, bland. You can find a lot better wine going to the different liquor stores in this county. The staff is also unwelcoming and preciousness here. They seem bothered to serve customers except their favorites. This is definitely not for the locals and caters to the students which already the students cause...

Very disappointed in my visit tonight. After reading reviews I was looking forward to a nice meal while travelling on business. I loved the building but that was about it. The ribeye was tough and had a very odd flavor profile that made me question if the meat was spoiled. The texture of the steak was almost as if it had been microwaved. No sear at all the steak was curled. Probably the worst restaurant steak I have eaten. Also ordered the Maryland clam chowder. The soup was very bland had no seasoning at all.Not impressed at all most likely will not return. I can say with absolute certainty that they should take steak off their menu. That steer died in vain. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

First time at this restaurant. Atmosphere was excellent, not crowded, was seated immediately. Very disappointed about food and time it took to receive it. One hr passed b4 we received our food. Sandwiches were not that good. Bun very very hard. Burgers cooked way way to long. Chips were great. Dined with 3 others and they were not impressive with their meals either. Probably won't go again. ?

The food menu looks good but does not live up to expectations. Dry and bland. The service was horrible. Would not recommend. The only cool thing is the history of the hotel and that’s about it. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Arrived late but were greeted in a friendly manner. The crab dip was outstanding. My wife did not care for the coating on her shrimp. I had the BBQ shrimp and the sauce was very good but the shrimp were a little on the tough side. Service was good. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
