My medium arrived well done, and a medium rare arrived medium-well. They're also coated in some kind of seasoning which goes beyond salt and pepper, and frankly it shouldn't be there -I'd like to taste meat. The pepper sauce is another story - paying extra for a measly pot of goop that not only had mushrooms but tasted like nothing more than Maggi beef stock. Have had lunch there during the week twice recently because the quality of the food was very high. They do a $14 lunch with the standard pub fare but I have to say the fish and chips was great - fish moist and batter crispy and a good portion too for the price. The week before we went for the main courses and my snags and mash with a pepper sauce were some of the best sausages I have ever had. All the meals were of equal high standard and generous portions too. The outside courtyard is great, spacious and plenty of room for smokers too and the music wasn't too loud but good choices. All in all a great place for a few drinks and good pub food. Will definitely go...
Toller Ort mit schöner Dekor. Freundliches Personal und ein schöner Außenbereich. Wir haben den Camembert mit Quitten und Trauben bekommen. Wir bestellten auch die südlichen gebratenen Drumsticks mit Chipolt-Sauce. Die Präsentation war ausgezeichnet, dass ich sagen muss. Der Käse war wunderschön. Die Trommelstöcke ..... nichts, um nach Hause zu schreiben. Es gab wie etwas, das Sie im Supermarkt vorverpackt kaufen und in Ihrem eigenen Zuhause kochen würden. Ich habe knusprig und saftig erwartet, aber stattdessen bekam eine kaum dort Beschichtung, die überkocht aussah. Insgesamt würde ich jedoch definitiv den Rest des Menüs ausprobieren. Slow and smoky is great for brisket but not so much for a family meal at a pub. The general eating area is immediately adjacent to 4 designated smoking tables meaning you've got smoke wafting over you from entry. Even the separate eatery gets full is smoke and you're stinking of it while you eat. Food was decent but service was slow and mixed - meals mis-served and served out of order. Really disappointing.
Gutes Essen, zu viele Fernseher, obwohl alle auf den Sport umgestellt wurden. Biergarten ist cool, es sei denn, es ist voll, und dann kannst du nicht während deiner Mahlzeit reden und nicht den größten Teil davon vergessen, dass die Raucherdomäne nur ist! Esszimmer in Ordnung, zu hell beleuchtet, ein bisschen fehlt in der Atmosphäre.
Ich war nicht in vielen Pubs! Wir kamen zunächst hier für den berühmten Schweinekotelett, aber sie hatten nicht in der Nacht, also wechselten wir zu Fischen, Steak und Soft Shell Crab Burger. Sie schmecken alle ganz schön.

Big pub with sports etc. Quiz night on Monday at 7:30pm was good fun.We ate there a couple of times and had no complaints.
