The late summer weather brought out a crowd, and the restaurant had plenty of outdoor seating available. The drinks service was fine, but issues arose when it came to ordering food. We were informed there would be a twenty-minute wait, but our food didn't arrive until nearly an hour later after two reminders. It turned out that they hadn't realized one of our starters had run out, which was frustrating to hear. We watched as tables who had ordered after us were served before us, adding to the disappointment. I stopped by this restaurant on a Wednesday evening and it was very busy. The restaurant and bar were both packed, but when I asked if they had a table available, they said they could seat me either in the bar or the restaurant. I ordered a mixed grill, which was cooked well and arrived promptly. My only complaint was that the steak, which was cooked to a perfect medium rare, had a lot of fat inside, but that's not the restaurant's fault. The chocolate brownie I had for dessert was amazing. Overall, it's a nice place with a good pint of Tribute.

Lovely meal this evening, relaxing surroundings, wonderful staff, friendly and good service. 3 of us for dinner, mushroom pie was lovely, mixed grill wonderful and steak pie tasty. Also had dessert which was lovely Will definitely be returning

An OK place for dinner. Food acceptable without being outstanding in any way. Wine OK, but expensive for what it was. Service was OK too. All in all OK.

Went with a friend for lunch, had an absolutely amazing steak ciabatta. Really enjoyed it. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Lovely place
