This adorable cafe has been serving Audubon and the surrounding communities for more than a decade. If you ever wondered what Prufrocks might have looked like in real life, it might just be this place. Are you fatigued by soccer moms in Starbucks discussing Lululemon and the manufactured culture? The place itself is still very comfy especially on rainy/snowy days. The food selection is varied and always solid. The problem is the lattes and frappes we get are so WILDY inconsistent depending on who makes it. I mean the drinks are never in the same ballpark anytime we go. We always hope the one young lady that made out drinks the first time and made us fans is there because we know for sure it will be fantastic otherwise.... My gf has felt this way for awhile but I was stubborn until most recently when I got a frappe that was just blended too much and was basically an iced coffee. The place has a lot of potential. But as much potential they have it is disappointing. The service is eh. The food is mediocre. The location is great the concept too. But the ambiance isn 't too pleasant. The place is dirty, lacks hygiene. (Pic. Example. it 's almost March and there 's still Christmas ornaments on the windows up. I got a chicken avocado lettuce wrap (I didn 't want a flour tortilla she insisted I 'd get it in a wrap because it 's wrapped. It 's okay I want my lettuce wrap I didn 't get a wrap, I received everything on a plate and like pieces of chicken wrapped in lettuce. Do not recommend for coffee either, lattes i ordered was pure milk and sugar and like half espresso.

Cute place, but unfortunately inefficient with disappointing food. I waited half an hour for a breakfast sandwich, quesadilla, and coffee because one person had to make the whole order start to finish. The food was not tasty and definitely not worth the wait. The place seems short staffed which is unfortunate and often inescapable, but I'd rather choose from a more limited menu and get my order quickly than have many options that take so long to make. Absolutely adore this place. My favorite thing might have been getting to pick my own mug for my latte. Just gives it a nice homey feeling. There isn't a crazy amount of seating only because I think if you get a good spot you don't wanna leave. Sat here for a few hours doing work.

Microwaved eggs. Why use organic eggs and then microwave them? Also, my coffee, one of the gang creations, tasted too much like the flavored syrup. Finally, I get that they want to be environmentally friendly, but I don't like to pay to eat off chipped plates.

I absolutely adore this place. Such cute vibes in a coffee shop plus they make their very own gluten free bagel that is to die for !!!! I would eat one everyday if I could haha. Super allergy friendly and kind all the time !!!
