The Mixed Grill is fantastic! If it's your first time having Turkish food and you don't know what to choose, the platter gives you a generous amount of the most popular meats in The Turk's repertoire, so you don't have to choose one and worry you might not like it as much as another (which I realized wasn't a problem after I had some because they were all delicious They also have an awesome host. I was picking my food up and he greeted me and let me know my food would be out in a couple minutes. He offered me Turkish tea (on the house! and brought it out in a to-go cup for me to take in the car once my food was ready. We arrived on time for our reservation on a Saturday night at 7 pm. The table was available, but that was it. We waited at the table for nearly 45 minutes without even a glass of water. The restaurant was so understaffed that a single waiter was working for approximately 12 tables take out orders. And, clearly, his priority was on the take out orders. We couldn't blame the waiter because he was working as hard as humanly possible. But, we left to find an alternate place to eat......because we wanted to actually eat.
This is our second time having dinner here. The first time was a wonderful experience with great wait staff. This time was completely different. One waitress for everyone in the restaurant. The food came out cold. We felt completely rushed. We had just finished our appetizer and I did not even get to put my fork down and our entrée was served. Waitress had so much perfume on it was nauseating. We will not go back.
Let them know you're vegan when you dine here and they'll take care of the ordering for you. We tried the large cold mixed appetizers, and they were excellent! The service was also very good. This restaurant is incredibly flavorful and consistently delivers a great experience, making it a weekly favorite for our family. Our top pick is the Doner Kebab, but we've genuinely enjoyed every dish we've tried. Highly recommended!
Without a doubt, this is the best food in all of Mt. Kisco. With its incredible flavors and consistently high quality, The Turk has become a regular favorite for our family. We especially enjoy the Doner Kebab and the Hummus.
I love this restaurant! Such a great menu, everyone is friendly, great location and very clean. I always eat too much, and order more at the end of my meal to take home and enjoy the next day. Love love love it!
