My experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. I came here for dinner on a recommendation, but the young man working at the bar seemed more interested in his phone and friends than providing good service. The diet coke I ordered was flat and tasted watered down, not like most pubs. I ordered a simple burger, which cost £15. Unfortunately, the top bun was stale, the bottom bun was soggy, and the tomatoes were clearly past their use-by date. The meat was okay and the chips were decent, but when I tried to address my concerns with the young man at the bar, he was too preoccupied with his phone and friends.
We stumbled upon The Unicorn by chance and were pleasantly surprised. The decor and ambiance exceeded our expectations, with every detail being impressive. We did not anticipate finding such luxury in Deddington. The food and drinks were extremely tasty, and my son and I enjoyed a delicious lunch. We sent compliments to the chef. The unexpectedly affordable cost added to our enjoyment, making it a great value for the beautifully presented meal. We will definitely be returning. The service was excellent, earning a 5-star rating.
We enjoyed lunch from and extensive and varied menu . There was an excellent wine list , their NZ Marlborough was marvellous. Service was excellent and the food wonderful. will definitely return Captain Neil Isle of Man
Absolutely blinding night of entertainment, nice surroundings and the band were brilliant....locals a bit clicky but that's the same where ever you go.... Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value
