There is a union kitchen by my house in garden oaks that is fantastic so i decided to check this place out. I got the voodoo balls which tasted great but were served all spaced out on the onion rings and since it was so cold in there they weren't very hot when I got them. Maybe they would be better served in a pile on a bed of the onion rings? My friend got the shrimp and grits which had a great flavor but is served in a lake of sauce. Personally I think it could use more grits to balance the amount of sauce especially for 22 dollars.
I just had THE BEST EVENING OUT in a very long time. GREG the host was an absolute joy. Hilarious and engaging. Nia was our bartender and she was attentive, sweet, and her service was top notch!! This was my 1st time dining here, and they won me over....oh...and the food ....DELICIOUS!!!! 1 year later....update Another fabulous experience. Cici was the bartender and we loved her. Service was excellent and the lobster grilled cheese was AMAZING!
I thought this would be another uptight too expensive for what it was worth place but NOT AT ALL. AMAZING. For a party of 11 people everyone was happy with their food and impressed. Great service, great food, why would anyone go to the IHOP and pay similar price for food when you can come here for better. Highly Recommend the beignets the pizza the Bang Bang shrimp!
We went to the Murder Mystery Dinner last night and it was an incredible event! So much fun!! The wine was amazing and the curated menu was fabulous! The union kitchen staff always does such a great job at their events and we've never been disappointed with the food! Everything was absolutely delicious!! The whole family really enjoyed everything from here!! Hardest part is choosing which things to order!! ....except the macaroni and cheese it was not good at all...which I was a little sad about...but that was my only complaint... I give them 10 stars!!
Everything you see in my pics was delicious. The Elvis, the beignet’s, the Union breakfast and the chicken and waffles. We had the bubbles which is a bottle of champagne w two flavor juices for mimosas. The atmosphere was amazing. Very quiet and eye catching. We will definitely be back.
We love The Union Kitchen! We had one bad experience from the many times we had gone and the manager quickly corrected the issue. It is our go to brunch spot.
