The Valence Sud Campanile

we are a family of four on holiday. we have always used campanile when we drive through france as we have found that they meet our requirements perfectly, and the personal is always friendly. not in this hotel! They didn't want us there and had none. intentionally to help us find a place to eat with the children. I could go on, but I think you'll get the gist. dont stay here, look elsewhere!

On arrival, hotel looked rather run down, with peeling door, etc. However, once in room, clean and acceptable. Shower good, bed comfortable. Highlight was at reception, young guy made us so welcome and served us drinks happily. Then ate in evening..well, excellent food and plenty of it wonderful lobster sauce on my fish. Not expensive. Good value and glad we stayed.

The whole thing needs a complete renovation of the buildings and rooms, as well as the bathrooms. Correct bedding Correct restaurant Welcome without fuss, a little dry High price compared to the quality of the equipment

Buffet had a lot of salads, cold meat, dressed with different others. the main course there were at least 6 different options on the menu. staff very helpful and friendly.
