We experienced a rather unpleasant welcome at the café. The barista appeared with an annoyed expression and an attitude that was off-putting. If I hadn't been so desperate for caffeine, I might have left right then. The vanilla latte had no hint of vanilla, and the Danish was soggy. I felt like I wasted $17. It's disappointing because the café has the potential to be a trendy spot. If I were the owner, I would certainly pay closer attention to the staff's demeanor. The overall atmosphere was far from friendly.
I came across some rave reviews, so I decided to check it out. I asked the barista what espresso blend they were using, but they didn’t seem to know. Another staff member mentioned they were using their espresso mix. The portion sizes were quite modest; I didn’t even finish my drink, which was unusual for me. My fiancée ordered a coffee that was just okay. The atmosphere was quite warm and rather cramped as well.
I can't believe I haven't written a review yet, since I practically consider this place my second home. Patrick and his team restore my faith in humanity. They are genuinely wonderful people, and I always feel welcomed at the Victory. While the coffee is great on its own, it's the sense of community and charm that truly stands out. I wholeheartedly recommend this cafe—1000 out of 10!
Great food, great service, excellent vibes, good location and awesome coffee/tea. They don't take cards or have wifi which is why I rated good versus excellent. Overall a wonderful place to meet people for coffee that is typically low key with excellent food.

Delicious coffee, expertly made, and a limited selection of pastries and snacks. There's no wi-fi, so be sure you are coming here to enjoy good coffee and good company (or a book). Very nice servers and a comfy, funky atmosphere.
Great local neighborhood coffee shop. The service is beyond awesome. Great coffee. Great homemade granola. Child welcoming, and they serve ice cream : . I highly recommend it.

I had an amazing sandwich featuring sun-dried tomatoes, pesto, and mozzarella on ciabatta from Far Breton. You definitely need to try it!
Great food and coffee in a welcoming, unpretentious atmosphere. Plus, the Wi-Fi is excellent!
