The Village was once my second home. The owners were very close friends of mine. I have known the Stein family since before they moved to Manchester from Howell, Michigan. The food at The Taps is still excellent, particularly the burgers which I often order. However, there is one thing I don't like - my best friend Chris. All the photos of him have been taken down from the walls and it just feels like everything has changed. If Chris were still alive, I would probably be at the restaurant every day. Should be 5 stars. Just needs a new worker. I had to cancel my card, because Emily the bartender took it outside to pair with her cigarette. Also coming into a bar, I shouldn't have to hear bad talk about my family @Emily
The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere and it's fun to sing along with the bar staff to the music. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. It's an amazing spot to escape from the stresses of daily life.

The tap is great. My boys love it. The food is good. The atmosphere is friendly. Do yourself a favor and be a regular.
