We were at a table on the left of the bar. The service was quite inattentive. After initially being asked what drinks we would like and for the food, we had to keep walking round to the other side of the bar to get service. We had to wait an hour for food and when it did come, the chips were cold on all the dishes. I think it’s good practice if there is such a long wait to let the customers know. I think also with French fries, it’s a hard thing to mess up. When you serve them cold and hard it doesn’t fit with food that’s at a price point this pub charges. The vegetarian burger has so much avocado on it it couldn’t be picked and was very slimey to manage, and combined with the cold hard frie...
Came here today our first time here and can absolutely say we've had a lovely time food was absolutely beautiful we had the creamy garlic mushrooms and the cornfed chicken risotto and husband had the same creamy garlic mushrooms with the cottage pie followed by the banana split was gorgeous and will definitely be back in the future also thank you to the staff who were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us its a beautiful place too thank you.
Went for lunch, table booked. No radiators on. Ate meal wearing overcoat. Not good or welcoming or wish to stay. Went across the road to get a hot drink afterwards to warm up. Very disappointing, we won't be going back. IN REPLY TO PUB COMMENTS RADIATORS WERE ABSOLUTELY STONE COLD. THERE WAS NO HEATING ON WHATSOEVER. AND THE LITTLE CREAM FIREPLACE WAS NOT ON NEITHER.
Me and my family love the Wagon. The staff are excellent and friendly, food is very good and the building itself is lovely inside. If you’re ever in uppermill and can get a table it’s a must!

We 've just enoyed a lovely vegan meal of 'Cumberland sausage mash ' here. They have a seperate mini vegan menu and it 's so nice to have options. Thanks so much.
My tea and hot chocolate came cold without any sugar when asked and the service was very slow. I ended up going down the road to get a decent hot drink.
Brilliant meal the Waggon Inn, Uppermill. Excellent Food. Brilliant Staff. Awesome Venue. We will definitely be back very soon.
Top food top ale, top service, would go every week if I could afford to!
