I visited this pub with my wife and our two dogs after hiking up Scafell Pike. I'm quite particular about where I eat, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here—it was quite good! The atmosphere was also fantastic. Overall, I’d rate the food a solid 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 as well. I highly recommend trying the Beer Battered Fish, Pie, and Chips!

The food was outstanding, and all the gluten-free (GF) options are clearly marked on the menu. The chips and batter are also gluten-free. To make it even better, there’s gluten-free beer available on draft!
