water hull is great for changing the tempos from the usual spots on the 96th road, but do not go on a Friday or Saturday. they are a new place so that I will give them the advantage of the doubt, but they cannot deal with the haste. eating is much better and carefully prepared during the week. even for the portions, the prices are somewhat steep. Finding vegan options at the Jersey Shore can be a challenge, but this restaurant offers delicious poke bowls and impossible burgers. They also have salads, although I haven't had the chance to try them yet. The atmosphere is beachy and casually upscale, located on the second floor of the mall in the heart of town. The service is always friendly and accommodating, and we felt safe sitting on the balcony with open garage door-sized windows and everyone wearing masks. In a town lacking vegan choices, this place does a great job at serving tasty plant-based meals.
Good food, but not worth the cost. $12 deviled crab eggs appetizer and we got 4 halves that were stuffed; $13 smoked tuna sliders and again 4 pieces; $30 crab and herb crusted salmon steak with no sides and there was barely anything on the salmon. The only thing worth the price was the kids ' meal and the Mahi was dry and the vegetables were overcooked and wrinkly. I would not suggest for anything except their after hours entertainment and bar. The rink prices are outrageous as well, though. $8 for a local beer on tap?! Would NOT recommend!
the first time at the watering hull. comfortable feeling, industrial looking, but cozy, look at the inside courtyard below and see 96 street. beautiful menu, we enjoyed the fish tacos, portabella sandwich and crab cake dinner. had a few drinks, there was a good choice of designs beer. not overcrowded on a Friday night, but was after the laboratory day holiday. we have made reservations with open table to make sure we have one table. we would go back to the next visit. Best thing was the plantain chips! Have a drink enjoy the band..but not dinner. Had the tuna poke over salted and a little fishy. The grilled romaine was terrible. The shrimp and chicken curry house specialty had three shrimp and a very small piece of chicken. The waitress was nice but the food was truly awful.
my wife pulled pork. sha bang bang huh and garnel bad taste and the huh was chew. the noise level was stubborn. would not recommend, despite the restaurant with one of only four liqueur licenses on the island.
Not a family dining option. More suitable for date night or friends getting together. Food was okay but pricey with smallish portions. Drinks are very pricey as well.
