Our latest visit to the Waybury Inn was our seventh (we think! . Each trip has been most enjoyable including this two-night stay from November 6-8, 2023. The only reason I'm rating our stay 4 instead of five stars is due to a hot water issue which was being looked into as we checked out. Other than that, our room was perfect. We usually visit in May but wanted to try an off-season visit. We took this getaway well after foliage season and before ski season. We stayed in the Robert Frost room and it was beautiful. Wonderful place. Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Especially Casey and the staff in the Pub. We had an amazing dinner as well. Rivaled some of the best meals we’ve had in New Orleans, Houston or Dallas. This was our first trip to Vermont and we wanted to have an “Inn” experience. This was perfect. Highly recommend. The place itself is beautiful. Susan was our waitress at dinner and she was a delight. Our food was a 10 The entire feel of this place is absolutely wonderful. Our room is quaint but cozy. Everything is clean! I am only passing though on my way to UVM but I want to come back. I absolutely fell in love with this inn.
Stayed and had breakfast. Best scones and pancakes I've ever eaten. The room and common areas are clean and staff is wonderful. Anyone giving low stars and complaining is probably also reviewing things like Taco Bell and Walmart.
