Food was horrible, we had Philly Cheesesteak, it came on stale buns we couldn't eat, the meat over salted, it was absent of cheese but they threw in the lettuce and cucumbers to make up for lack of meat. The burgers the kids ordered were pretty bad the meat dry and tasteless and the fries were old reheated leftovers comprised mainly of the dry hard bits of the fries. 80.00 for two philly cheesesteaks, two burgers and a side order of fries... I would expect better quality for the price we paid. On another visit we ordered a pizza, it was premade factory frozen crust with some toppings thrown on it and again for 33.00 would expect a decent pizza...they used to have good food, they seem to be g...
Service was good, waitress was polite. The burger was home made and tasted amazing. The fries were fresh cut and gravy was home made as well. Serving are not big thought but good enough. My son had breakfast which they serve all day. There was more than enough on his plate that he could not finish. Over all- great little restaurant.
This was reccommened to me and I am grateful. Tired of burgers on souless buns I was intigued by having a Bannock burger. Rather then my custom of throwing those buns out I had eaten the whole bannock included. Refreshing opportunity to dine with good coffee and old school flavourful fries and remember our bannock making heritage.
We didn't eat in at the Wellington this trip but had heard the pizza was very good - we certainly were not disappointed! With all of the choices in the big city ( I'm from Ottawa) - honestly - this one topped most - lovely thin crust - very fresh ingredients - fast, healthy and tasty. Highly recommended! The Wellington Inn is one of my favourite places to eat in Sioux Lookout. Food is always reliable and usually quick. Waitresses (waiters) are very busy and work really hard. Don't get upset if they rush you... food comes out quick and they are busy, busy, busy. Perhaps more staff would work?
We frequent this little restaurant. The food is always fresh and good. Nice selection. Breakfast is served all day which is much appreciated. My favourite is the fish and sweet potato fries. They serve a great chipotle mayo with the fries.
We have been here several times but only for breakfast. Very good meals and the portions are generous. Great omelete's I love the rye toast. Bottomless strong coffee. Service is great and the prices are reasonable.

I ordered fish and chips. Fries were good, slaw was good. The fish was 2 pieces straight from the local, cheap freezer section. Service was good food was served fast.
