Our second time at the Wellington Inn! Last time we were there was for my Aunties birthday which was absolutely spectacular and great rooms to stay over. This time we went for a meal in the bar, which is dog friendly. Views there are amazing and the waiting staff are great! Food was pub standard and the puddings were our favourite part of the meal. Great environment overall for a family meal :
Stayed there for a little getaway, 2 nights total. Amazing stay. Staff are super friendly, the rooms was great and food is really good. Main lounge where they serve the food has a large log fire which was perfect after a long walk. Only negative are creaky floors and thin-ish walls but everything else makes up for them
very enjoyed our 3 nights. the English breakfast was hot, delicious. the dinner was delicious. the corn spring chicken was brilliant (I had it twice without regret.) eaton mess for gloomy. sticky toffee pudding also good. no hurry, nice atmosphere. the personal was great!
Stopped for a snack lunch and coffees prior to our local walk. Called in after the walk for well earned beer and Processo. Lunch was quick and tasty, with friendly staff welcoming us. The return was also the same, with the cask beer being good condition. Dog friendly. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Loved the food. Excellent customer services and beautiful views. Sunday roast was superb and the deserts apple pie, and both ice creams were awesome. We will definitely come back.
As a frequent lone traveller, I've stayed in a variety of hotels, B&Bs etc. The Wellington Inn is one of the best. Clean, friendly and excellent service. Good value for money.
great lunch after a walk in the vicinity. the staff was friendly, eating was amazing (steak pie) and we sat at the open fire. a great environment, we will visit again.
