We have been visiting this pup since 1979, over the past few years, it’s had many managers, some making it work, some not! At the moment ias a family have used the conservatory upper part, once for an 18th in August, a baby girls 1st birthday 11th November and a grandsons christening on Sunday 19th November, each event we found Debbie and her team delivering a fantastic service going above and beyond!! The food buffet style has been a huge success on every occasion!! We hope we have many years of service with this team and all their future plans come to fruition! Keep doing what you do!!!
I went to this restaurant today with a group of friends for Sunday lunch, and the service was very welcoming. The staff were friendly and happy to see us again. The Sunday lunch we had was the best we have had in a long time, especially the homemade stuffing which was a huge hit with us. We couldn't resist ordering dessert from the menu, and it did not disappoint. We plan to come back soon for our festive feast, it's nice to feel like old friends of the team here.
Went to Hale village today to visit the childe of Hale, we were a group of 8 feeling peckish we settled on a pub called the Wellington. Having gone inside we were greeted by Debbie with a lovely smile, really friendly and helpful. Suggestions on which menu, food was nicely presented piping hot and a good choice and value for money. All 8 of us would go again and highly recommend it.
We have been visiting for a while now and have never been dissapointed. The staff have become like friends and even know the kids names by heart and always take the time to check the kids are ok and always have plenty of fun things to occupy them on every visit. The food is delicious and we highly reccomend the fish and chips.

I went to Hale village with a group of 8 friends and we had lunch at The Wellington Hotel. The food was delicious, and with the lunchtime special, we were able to enjoy a nice pudding. Debbie and her staff were very friendly and took good care of us. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Just a massive thank you to all the staff at the wellington pub. They were a big help in arranging the gathering after my mum’s funeral. The food was excellent and everything ran smoothly. Thank you again. I would highly recommend the wellington for a function.
The food was absolutely amazing. I would recommend anytime to anyone that ask and to anyone that doesn't know the Wellington. It is a family oriented and the staff are friendly. Absolute credit to the community.
The food was fantastic, the staff were welcoming, and the added bonus of being able to watch planes fly overhead made the experience even better. I will definitely return in the future.

Came with my mum, baby and toddler for lunch, food was lovely, good portion size and staff were great with the kids. We live in the village so will be returning.
Great food I had steak and my wife had the gammon both spot on ! Customer Service was fantastic what a great team will definitely be returning
