When you go to Wetherspoons you know what you're getting food wise which is great value for money, the cheapest beer around £1.49 per pint BUT the defining areas are the location and staff...The West Kirk is definitely up there for location. They've done a fantastic job converting the church leaving enough of the original character with the stained glass windows to make it a great place. Customer service was brilliant, the staff happy, chatty and very helpful even though it was busy with people. All in all a nice cheap tea out with a couple of pints in a lovely place...
As usual, another beautiful old converted church. I quite like the ease of ordering on your phone. Food is quite decent, esp for the prices. My only complaint was that my pizza, although delicious, only had topping in the middle! There was about an inch all around the edge with no toppings on it, so you were eating dry pizza dough. This was our ONLY moan. The building is beautiful, in a great wee town, and the staff were efficient friendly. Nice place.

Great place to eat, drink and meet friends. Can be very busy at times but if you have the Wetherspoons app it's a good queue jumper and you get served quicker. Great selection of food and drinks all set in a good atmosphere and comfy setting. Located centrally and close to the bus station. A good place if you are on a budget for food or drink. Myself, husband and children were passing on holiday when my eldest daughter said that's a weatherspoons we looked and decided to go in for dinner, what a place this is inside we were all in shock it's so beautiful. We used the app to order food and drinks which came quickly food was lovely and staff were friendly and smiley added bonus! would recommend to others!
I've been here a few times since I recently moved to ayrshire. never was disappointed, decent eating, reasonable prices and friendly staff. beautiful building inside, you see yourself recommended.
A lovely surprise, yes it's wetherspoons but the building was brill never thought I'd be having a pint on holiday in a converted church today
