Service terrible was told we had come at a bad time as it was staff change over. 4.30 on a Sunday afternoon pre booked and the restaurant was dead, in fact apart from some very drunk people at the bar we were the only ones in there. Offerd 1 drink throughout our whole visit, table left uncleared, service very slow never even came to ask if our food was ok. Eaten here several times, never experienced this. Bit of a cheek to add service charge to the bill when it was so poor hence we declined to pay this charge.
This is now one of our favourite places to eat. The quality of food is consistently excellent, the service is generally very good and the place has a good ambience. Sunday lunch on Fathers Day was hectic so service wasn’t as good but the meal was excellent.
Service in West Park is excellent and food very good. Haddock in scallop shell, starter, could have had a bit more flavour but other than that hard to fault. Good ambience and generally a buzz making it a venue worth repeat visits.
great location, good room. reception very good and waitress in restaurant excellent. jessica was cheerful and very efficient.

I have now stayed at the West Park four or five times since this review and each time they never disappoint.
beautiful place. interesting menu. good wine list. easy slow service. chef has to season his dishes more.
First visit for Sunday lunch, excellent food the desert sharing platter was huge and excellent.
Lovely food, attentive staff. Great value, especially with the MyLifepool discount.
