The Wheatsheaf Inn

First time back since covid. Bit disappointed that the toastie menu has been scaled back and there's no tuna available now although the staff did explain the reasoning behind this decision. A good visit, on the whole, toasties were nice, but it wasn't quite the fantastic lunch time treat I was hoping for and the chips were a little disappointing. Great welcome from the staff behind the bar and I'd still recommend this venue as a nice place for lunch.

We had a wonderful family meal in the winter garden of a building on July 5th, 2022. The food was of great quality and the service was extremely attentive. The taste and presentation of the dishes were excellent. I highly recommend the pizzas and the fantastic selection of local dishes. This was my second visit during my stay nearby and I will definitely try to come back again.

Lovely quiet and civilised establishment, with plenty of parking in a peaceful part of the Wirral. No background music Wonderful! (This was on a quiet Thursday evening watching the Morris Dancers outside. I don 't know if it 's the same at other times.

This spacious traditional pub offers great value for money and delicious food. It boasts a large free parking area in front of the location, making it a convenient stop for walkers and bikers. The setting is perfect for a quick pit stop.

Best pub on the Wirral by far! The old cow shed. Staff are lovely and the location is amazing!
