I am giving this place four stars even though I really enjoyed it. Due to its age and size, there are some limitations. It is a charming hotel that has been operating for a long time in an old building with a lot of history. It is a great place to spend time in. We only stayed for one day and wished we had more time. The stairs are steep and winding, so you need to be cautious. The check-in is on the ground floor. John, the front desk person, is very friendly and efficient. He carries your bags upstairs two at a time and gives helpful recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. The rooms are located on the higher floors and are small, as expected in an old building. They seem well...
We didn't stay at the hotel but the bar is amazing. We were recommended to check it out by the staff at the Oban Distillery and I'm very glad we did. Great selection of whiskies and very friendly and knowledgeable staff who are very happy to talk you through some of them. Service: 5 Location: 4

This lovely boutique hotel offers beautiful rooms and exceptional service from a friendly staff. I would definitely choose to stay here again in the future. Looking forward to our next visit!
