We arrived in the afternoon on a beautiful day, and the views of the water surrounding the restaurant were stunning. We took a moment to stroll around outside and snap a few photos before heading in. The restaurant was nearly empty except for one table that was wrapping up, so we had our choice of seats. They had hand sanitizer available at the entrance, and we were asked to use it before grabbing a menu and being seated. When we asked our server for recommendations, she provided a few suggestions for each section of the menu. Refusal of service dog. Horrible humiliating experience. It was my daughters birthday, we phoned and made reservations, we asked if they were ok if we brought my daughters service dog, we were told that was ok. It is the law, that service dogs are allowed in restaurants, we didn't even have to ask. By law a restaurant cannot refuse a service dog. so we go to check in and the owner starts yelling at us that service dogs are not allowed. We told her that we had even called and ask and her restaurant said no problem. We explain to her that it is the law that in fact they are and we have our documents to prove that this is in fact a service dog. She refused to look at our documentation. She just...
Apparently, our reservation has only covered a seat somewhere at the place, ended behind the place in a corner near the bar, which saw a wall at a high table for 2, which was so unstable, could not hold a drink. I fixed this with a watt of serviettes under one. I didn't imagine that when I reserved for my 60th birthday. in a restaurant on water with view. my meal was enough a bowl of chicken parmesan, but that's it, not a garlic bread on the side, as had previously visited. my wife's meal was cured stir fry, which was crushed into so much sauce it was distracted by the meal.
The restaurant offers great views and a relaxed atmosphere, but unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. I noticed that my lettuce had dirt within the leaves, so I requested a refund because I could no longer trust the quality of their food. Instead of apologizing, the waitress rolled her eyes at me and whispered about me to her coworkers right in my presence, making me feel completely humiliated. Delicious food and excellent service, complemented by a stunning view of the bay. It's a lovely spot for lunch or dinner at any time. I've visited twice—once for lunch and again for dinner. They excel at both lunch dishes and steaks. I will definitely return!
