The set out of this pub is lovely with various nooks and crannies. Atmosphere was good and staff were on the ball Nearby activities: Very convenient if your going on the seal trips as close to the harbour Walkability: Fairly flat with some inclines, but if you take your time it's fine Food drinks: It's an Adnams pub so ghost ship it was, but overall a good choice of drinks for all. Food was superb as was service. 2 of us had steak, 1 had the sea bass and the other crab and linguine.... everyone loved there main. Had a sharing platter to start with, equally as nice. Going again for definite.
Really enjoyed dinner at this family run gem excellent fish soup, followed by sea bass and superb treacle sponge pudding. Both the food and service were really good and will definitely return. Clean and tidy rooms, excellent food and service, my only complaint would be the price of drinks especially the wine, £9 for a medium glass and they charge 50p for a dash of soda water which elsewhere is free Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view

Dropped in for a couple of drinks pre-dinner. Quite quiet but the two barstaff worked together to get our round of drinks in super quick time excellence service. We will definitely visit again. Service: 5 Location: 5
The catch of the day cod and chips was outstanding. A large thick fillet of cod in light beer batter, great chips and a nice sides of peas and mayo/spring onion?
