We recently held a memorial for a friend at this pub and I cannot speak highly enough of the venue and the staff. Luke was extremely helpful in organizing the event, accommodating our catering preferences and being very reasonable with the costs. I found him to be very honorable in his dealings with us. The food was exceptional, clearly made from scratch and not from frozen, pre-made items. The service was impeccable and the venue itself was very clean. There is a separate area at the back of the pub, called the Tack Room, that is perfect for private events without feeling closed off. The overall atmosphere of the pub was buzzing and I can see why - it is a true local gem, getting everything...
We hosted my mother's wake at The White Horse. From the initial meeting for arrangements, we were greeted with a warm smile, professionalism, given a tour, and provided with all necessary information. On the day of the event, the staff were attentive and everything ran smoothly without any concerns on my end. The buffet lunch was abundant and enjoyed by all. Thank you, Fiona, for your help.
The staff at this restaurant are very friendly and make it clear that they are committed to providing excellent service, even if it means extra work for them. The bar seating is spacious and comfortable, creating a pleasant atmosphere. It's a great option for a relaxing drink and I will definitely be returning.
I highly recommend this pub for a delicious, fantastic home-cooked meal. It is definitely worth the money and the best meal my family and I have had in years. I give my compliments to the chef. I really enjoyed both lunch and evening meals here. pleasantly both inside and outside, uncareful when I went. eating comes fast, is hot and well prepared. the only article that holds me back from 5 stars is the size of the page orders that appear badly worth. (I'll look at you silly rings.
Today, we had the best Sunday roast we've had in years. The roast was perfectly pink and thinly sliced, the roasted potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and there was plenty of gravy. The staff was friendly and attentive.
The service at this restaurant is excellent and very friendly. The atmosphere is clean and cozy. Zak, the bartender, is very professional and confident in his work. The food was amazing, one of the best burgers in Bedford. I highly recommend it.
Nicely refurbed and big Charlie Wells pub. Only giving it 4 instead of 5 because in two recent visits it hasn't had the CW Brewpoint seasonal ales on, just the regulars DNA and Legacy which are nice enough but I like a bit of variety Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
