Whitpain was exactly what I needed. Sometimes you just need a real place that is not corporate not pretentious, just a laid back tavern that has what you need. Today is Sunday. And all I wanted was a low key spot to have a **** mary and breakfast. I can 't say how perfect this place is for just that. Oh and the food came out hot and tasty. Prices are legit and my **** mary was perfect. No need to upgrade to any other vodka. The whatever vodka. (House name) is just right. Highly recommend. I live in Norristown and this was my 1st time here. Definitely may become a regular.
My friends and I visited this restaurant for a late-night hangout after watching the release of Black Adam, around 10 PM. At that time, they only offered a "bar food" menu. I opted for the cheesesteak egg rolls, but I was quite disappointed. They were essentially just a fried shell with a few thin strips of beef inside—no cheese or any additional fillings. Honestly, they didn’t have much flavor. On the other hand, I tried the chicken wings my friend ordered, and those were quite good. The beer selection was impressive, and the staff was very friendly.
My sister was accosted by a man in this bar and the staff told HER to leave. This is the MOST DISGUSTING BAR in the entire area. Not to mention you shouldn?t use your credit card here unless you want them to charge your entire bill twice. I have NEVER experienced such an awful establishment. NOT A SAFE ENVIRONMENT!!! Especially if you are a young woman please find somewhere safer. If I could give a zero I would. Please be safe!!!
I had a nice experience at this restaurant, with a cozy atmosphere. The bartender was friendly—at least one of them was, as the other was a bit rude. I chose not to focus on that and managed to get my questions answered. Overall, it was a pretty good place for my first visit, and I might consider going back. We had a fantastic burger night! I've consistently enjoyed the excellent pub food here, including burgers, sandwiches, soups, and salads. I really appreciate that they offer a gluten-free roll for their burgers and sandwiches. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and professional. Overall, a great place for a meal!
This is a fantastic local pub for catching a game. They offer a wide variety of menu options at reasonable prices. However, they've recently replaced fries with chips on their sandwiches, which is a bit disappointing. The wings are excellent, though. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the barmaids are very friendly.
Some of the friendliest servers I've ever had, and to top that off, the food was delicious! The bar even accommodated me with making a drink for me, that I personally created, and it was spot on! They even had live music, which sounded great!Food: 5/5
