This restaurant is a hidden gem. My three friends and I had lunch there and were impressed by the variety of items on the menu, including lovely salads, wraps (hot and cold), sandwiches, cold drinks, and coffee. When you enter, you must go to the counter to place your order and pay, but they bring the food to your table. The prices are very reasonable, especially for dishes priced between $10 and $12. There is no dress code - you can wear whatever you like. I recommend going early as it tends to get busy, and more seating and parking would be helpful. Thursday’s are our favorite day to go for lunch, as they have their cabbage rolls. Delicious cabbage rolls with a salad and roll. Always enjoyable to sit and eat and then browse the shop for treats to take home, gifts, or even a new piece...of furniture or art for the home. Amazing Mennonite furniture finds available here. The bake shop offers amazing pies, as well as many other baked goods, frozen foods, and especially Dutch treats.
This is a gorgeous market! They have something for everyone!! My favourite part is the upstairs to go through rooms and see all the custom furniture and art and nic nacs it's all amazing! I am hooked on there scent melts I stock up when...I go! I am 3.5 hrs away from it but when that way I stop everytime!!! Love this store and recommend too check it out when in Mount Pleasant area...you will not be disappointed!
I have visited the Windmill many times . Recently I bought a custom coffee table , it is beautiful not only in looks and design but so functional .It looks really gorgeous in my room. Marie was so helpful as we completely customized the size...wood type and colour . Will be back for sure for more pieces in the near future Pauline

Lunch was excellent. Vegetable meatball soup was spot on just like my Oma used to make. Good amount of meat on the deli sandwich and it was very tasty . Purchased bread and buns to take home and they were very fresh and tasty....Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Interesting shopping upstairs lots to see.
We had dined at this restaurant before Covid and had a great experience. However, yesterday's meal was disappointing, so we will not be returning. The rest of the market is wonderful, whether for shopping in the back or browsing for gifts.
beautiful place to browse with unique gifts clothes wallets etc. and furniture up. great lunch, freshly made and very reasonable, love it here. nice hour or a few hours spent here.
Went to the Windmill on the Thanksgiving Friday for lunch, there were 26 of us. They were busy, busy, but the service and food was fantastic. Everyone was happy with their meal!
