Have arrived today to have a car very with my friend, at 5.30pm on a Sunday. I visit this location at least once a month and have done for years. Tried to book the carvery at the til to be told they had sold out...of them, understandable to a degree if the table wasn’t completely full and we hadn’t just witnessed the chef’s take out more veg and meat. We couldn’t understand so asked the manager to which he stated there was a large group who had booked the carvery so had used it all. Not too sure how that works at 5.45 on a Sunday at this point. Not only was we sat next to the large group who only 3 people had a carvery, the rest ordered off the menu, the manager wasn’t apologetic, wasn’t int...
my wife, father in the law and I came to lunch and was received with a warm welcome, also from the workers who seemed to be home on the way to home. Rachel and theny are worth money for the team and the brand, since nothing was too. the food was boiled to perfection, and I was a eater eater that I had to make some amendments, and that was filled without problems. already booked a table for my next visit to the family.
Stayed here for a business trip and I have to say fantastic place and great service. One perticular server called pam stood out. Service with a smile is an understatement, fantastic service from ordering to receiving our food she was fantastic. Credit to the staff.

we visit this opposite, and from the arrival in the place pam made us welcome and took care of us. She is so amazing and served us really well, we ordered a lot of drinks and she helped us find the best drinks for us! we love you pam!
Come here quite often with friends and never disappoints. Fish chips are great and my hubby loves the big burger. Food is always top the girls who serve us are always polite. We’ll be recommending to our other friends in the future.
Had another great meal here while visiting the family. Nothing was too much for the waitress Pam, very helpful professional. Great portions food was lovely drink was very reasonable. Will be definitely returning.

on this pub on Sunday evening, eating was nice and the staff were all very helpful and friendly, especially rusty and kieran, will definitely visit again soon.
