I do not recommend this restaurant for events. We attempted to host a corporate event in their private room with 40-50 people. We had spoken with the owner/manager beforehand and requested two servers. We also sent in a list of food and wine for pre-order so they could prepare accordingly. However, upon arrival, only two bottles of wine (out of six requested) and one charcuterie tray (out of many food items pre-ordered) were ready. My wife's company has held their holiday party here for 3 years. They never disappoint.Extremly friendly and knowledgeable service. Good selection of wines to both drink and purchase. They also can do mixed drinks and carry some local and mainstream beers for those who don't prefer wine. They have an added private room area that can be rented that allows for plenty of space for gatherings. Would recommend to stop by if your looking for a place to unwind or just a nice outing for dinks in the area.
The owners, food, and service at this restaurant are fantastic. However, their reliability when it comes to being open is inconsistent. On two separate occasions, I have arrived at the restaurant during their scheduled hours only to find the chairs stacked on the tables. It is frustrating to not be able to count on them being open when planning to meet friends there. I have also heard from someone who used to work with the owners that the restaurant may close without warning at random times.
Enjoyed a Friday evening HH visit (read I was waiting at the door when they opened) which included a great red I hadn't previously tried and a really full cheese board. The service was friendly and I would definitely return. It was very lively so if you're looking for an intimate conversation, I'd pick a different day to visit. There was not one thing we did not enjoy about our visit. The music was just right, you can hear it, but didn't have to talk over it, menu options were varied and the wine selection was wonderful. We felt welcomed and valued from the minute we crossed the threshold. We will return often.
This restaurant is an amazing spot for celebrating a birthday. The owner is friendly and welcoming. The quality of the mixed drinks can vary depending on the bartender, but the wine selection is extensive and impressive.
