The Withies Inn - Tisch reservieren

I have visited The Withies over a number of years and Friday's visit was such a disappointment that my guest asked if it had changed hands. The waiting staff appeared inexperienced and disorganised not knowing what to do. A tiny quantity of bread was provided it took a long time to take our order and the beef stroganoff was disappointing in its quantity and quality. For £27.00 I was expecting much better.

I love this place for its quirky style, but it’s been a while since I last visited. Everything was still excellent, the food is terrific and the service superb. I would only say that the menu used to be a bit more interesting (some game options for example), so with the high cost of these meals it makes it less appealing. Other than that it was lovely and I’d recommend anyone to go and eat there.

Always outstanding dining at the Withies in Compton. We have been going there for 24 years now and the menu hasn't changed much, which shows a successful choice of dining. Food is always extremely good and served in a timely manner without being rushed and the prices are very reasonable for food and drink. We will be going back again soon.

A 16th Century pub that’s full of characters. The staff are all friendly and very welcoming. I can always feel the heart they put into their service and food. Love their food which is excellent and at a high standard constantly. Ingredients are always fresh. The Withies Inn has already become my regular place for dinner.

It would have been nice to be advised about sides and be clear about what is included in the main meal. The pie was very good, the vegetables very good BUT not worth £30.00 .
